Google Groups

Google Groups is a communication and collaboration tool. Teachers can use Google Groups to encourage students to interact both inside and outside the classroom. With a traditional forum teachers can pose regular discussion questions for students, or encourage students to start their own threads on relevant topics. It is also a very useful teacher tool where specific groups such as a class or teacher group can be created and when a message needs to be sent to everyone then the teacher just sends a message to the created email (e.g. [email protected]) and all members receive the message. This avoids the burden of sending numerous emails to everyone.
