Google Forms

Google Forms is a fantastic tool that has a wide variety of uses such as:
  • Making quizzes/tests.
  • Creating differentiated exercises for students of varying levels.
  • Gathering feedback through surveys.
  • As a sign up method for an event.

Google Forms allows the inclusion of different types of questions such as short answers, paragraphs, multiple selection, verification boxes, pull-down, linear scale, grid of several options, among others. This gives a lot of freedom to a teachers style of questions and answers used.

An introduction to Google Forms can be found here.

Collaborating/Sharing with Others

As with all Google Apps, Forms can be edited and used by multiple users with changes effective immediately. This can be very helpful for team teaching or as a subject department. It can be shared within the Google Form or in a Google Drive folder.
Sharing the form with others can be done by email (can be included within the email itself) or a link to the form can be created and shared with the participants.
